The About My Native Place

Village Name: Kamanatagi, TQ: Shorapur, Dist: Yadagiri.

I am very pleasure to share about my village. In my village the population is around 4000. In my village there aretwo schools, a Government Higher Primary School Kamantagi and Government Lower Primary School Laxminagar (Kamanatagi). 50% is the literacy rate in my village. There are10 to 15 government workers. 

Geographical: In my village there is a total of 10000 acres of land. In 10000 acres 7000 acres are Irrigation land. All people are dependent on Agriculture. The most famous crop is RICE. Almost 80% of the famers in the village? grow RICE crop . All land is depending on Irrigation, Without Irrigation no one crop is not possible for Growing crop.

 Famous:  Here I am very happy for sharing famous things in my village:

 Good culture:  My village culture is very good. Yearly one Dram is conducted in my village.

 Every year we are celebrating fairs. In this time every person is participating very actively.

· 
 There are a Total of 15 Temples in my village. All people believe in god. Every when festivals are coming people are celebrating and very happy. There is a Total of six cast’s people stayingin this village. But very interesting thin, there is no castism, and there is Good co-ordination with every people.

 Social Condition: The social condition is very good. All people are economically better. Some people are very poor in this village.

· Governance: one Gram Panchayat, One PDS, and society.

In all the Government Department is not working properly. because of a lot of corruption in this Gram Panchayat and Society.

 Employment and Unemployment: in this village so many people are facing employment problem. Here only dependent on Agriculture.

 Industry: one big project is going on nearby my village regarding Electricity. After completing this project it will be helpful over all our Taluku

 Infrastructure Facility: my village has a very big problem with   Infrastructure,things such as sanitation, water problem, employment problem, and the Road situation are very bad.

So totally really I am very happy about my village, sum problems have in village. They are not big issues.  Every village has some problems, But my village is very in around this village. Here one canal is there, it provides water supply very larger area.
